When I launched JS CPA Strategic Solutions, I wasn’t just creating another financial services firm but rather something deeply personal. After spending years in both public practice and private consulting, I kept seeing the same thing: successful business owners, many running 7-8 figure companies, were left making massive financial decisions without the strategic guidance they deserved. I knew they needed more than surface-level advice; they needed a financial partner who could help them see around corners.
From day one, my vision was to bridge that gap. I wanted to become a trusted, high-level advisor for entrepreneurs navigating growth, acquisitions, and exit planning. JS CPA Strategic Solutions was built to provide exactly that: support that’s proactive, strategic, and personally invested in each client’s long-term vision.
The foundation for this work started early. I grew up around accounting professionals, and from a young age, I was exposed to how numbers impact real decisions about people, operations, growth, and legacy. I wasn’t just fascinated by math, I was fascinated by how financial clarity could transform a business.
I earned my Honours Bachelor of Accounting from Brock University’s Goodman School of Business in 2011 and obtained my CPA designation in 2015. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with Canadian and US business owners across a variety of sectors, from Tech, IT MSPs, SaaS to legal, professional services, professional sports leagues and even biotech companies. Each engagement deepened my understanding of what business owners truly need: not just clean books or compliant tax filings, but a steady financial hand guiding them through opportunity, uncertainty, and transformation.
Many of the clients I work with today come to me at inflection points. For example, after crossing into 7 or 8 figures in revenue, when they’re considering an acquisition, preparing for a sale, or simply feeling overwhelmed by the complexity of their own success. My role isn’t to replace them, but to stand beside them—to serve as a thought partner, a strategist, and a financial leader who helps them take intentional steps forward.
